I look forward to more of this series. Your mixed media always comes together in a magical combination and this is no exception.
Thanks Robyn :>) I'm watching sketches of Italy with you in envy!
Vivien - these are gorgeous. I agree with Robyn about your mixed media. Wish I was more experimental. I need to learn to let go. Any tips?
This works beautifully on so many levels, Vivien. Hope you will share more in this series as you create them.
Thanks :>)
tips? just pick up whatever is going to make the kind of marks you want snd push and pull the image til you think it's working - this went through some VERY ugly stages!
don't lose the lovely subtlety of your work though Anita
Vivien, this work is very exciting. I look forward to seeing more from this series - also loving Sam's Book!
Thanks Sue :>)
The new ink cartridge arrived today so tomorrow I have to finish his book off, print and put it together.
Let's hope he likes it.
He's alos getting Lynne Chapman's new one (Bears on the Stairs) complete with original drawings in the covers :>) he loved her last one.
Lovely tints and shades and then that bright water with its sparkling reflection.

Gorgeous.
These demonstrate a strong talent and a commanding grasp of technique.
Thank you :>)
This is beautiful, I'm sure it will do very well at the show.
This is so beautiful I can't wait to see more of the series. Thank you for showing close ups too. Your enjoyment of the process shines through in the marks that you have made.
Cathy and Lisa thank you - I'm determined to get on with some more tomorrow. We've been away visiting family and so no painting happening
